Statement of artist Ruju Pithakothe
I am a
visual artist who specially focuses in minimalist work style with the basic
concept of peace and environment.Having participated in lots of national and
international sculpture symposium, competition, exhibition and workshops, I
have tasted the different flavors of art and aim to learn different aspects of
life.
I
prefer contemporary art with the use of abstract and symbolic creation. In my
opinion the negative aspects of life can be transformed into positive for which
I am using the white drops symbolizing the better part. I believe in resolution
of the family, society, country nation and world is possible only through art.
With this view I want to present myself as good learner in this symposium so
that the things I learn shall be fruitful for me to change the world.
I have
brought pure white drops of Mount Everest from Nepal as a gift for Turkey in
the form of art.
